Violin and Viola Teacher Retreat
July 1-3, 2020
This retreat will share teaching approaches for the beginning to advanced player. Learn The Grossman Method® techniques for healthy and aligned playing for the advanced student. And Mimi Zweig's pedagogy
"Creating a Healthy Foundation" for teaching your beginning violin and viola students will be taught by Stacia Spencer.
Injury prevention, performance anxiety, and proper set up will be the focus for all students and their teachers.
Certification upon completion.
Lydia Van Dreel
When not practicing yoga, Lydia is a musician and music educator. Lydia enjoys working with people of all ages, all body types, all abilities, and all genders, helping them uncover their own meaningful yoga practice. In particular, Lydia is interested in helping people overcoming injuries, and helping people who have lived sedentary lifestyles gain comfort and freedom in their bodies through yoga practice.
Oregon Bach Festival
Participants of the retreat will have the opportunity to attend concerts in the evening featuring world-renowned musicians at the annual celebration of Bach at the University of Oregon. Click here for more information.

All participants will be responsible to provide for themselves, which can be conveniently accessed at the EMU on campus where many food options are available. Within walking distance is Cafe Roma, and many other shops on "Duck Street" which offer more variety of food options.
